Telescoper® Take-Up Features

STANDARD TAKE-UP FEATURES — Standard Telescopers® feature an internal adjuster rod that is totally enclosed and protected against product build-up, rust, corrosion, or thread damage. The adjusters are treated with a premium anti-seize compound. The Telescoper® is designed for easy 4-bolt assembly to the conveyor bed but we also offer models that mount to the top of the conveyor side rails. Their design allows for the easy replacement of standard open frame takeups. Telescopers® are designed to be used with two and four bolt pillow block bearings. The design of the bearing mounting plate allows for ready access to the bearings so bearing changeovers take only minutes without damage to the take-up.

TAKE-UP APPLICATIONS — Special bearing mounts for tapped base and hangar bearings are available upon request. We also make units with mounts for sprockets in chain drive applications.

  HYDRAULIC Constant force requirements and removte actuation for heavier duty applications. Hydraulic units also allow the setting of precise belt-tension values.

  SPRING COMPRESSION Shock loading, automatic compensation for belt and chain stretch allows for accidental injection of debris on the return side of the belt. Can be fitted with an indicator to allow for precise setting of belt-tension values.
